Great Beach Access with Room for Improvement

The beachfront location made our stay memorable. Enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning and the friendly staff added to the welcoming atmosphere. However, housekeeping struggled to keep our room tidy while we were here. For families, be sure to manage housekeeping requests early!

The beachfront location offers stunning ocean views, and the food at the on-site restaurant is delicious, especially for breakfast. However, the elevator was out of service during the stay, and the parking was cramped, leading to fears of door dings. The room had issues with air quality, causing allergy symptoms, which made for an uncomfortable experience throughout the visit.

Had a fantastic stay with a cozy ocean view room and really enjoyed the free beer and pizza by the pool. The heated pool was a highlight too, super comfy!

I loved the easy access to the beach. It made it super convenient to spend my days by the water. The friendly staff greeted me when I checked in and during my stay. they were always helpful. The room had a lovely decoration and a partial ocean view, which was relaxing. However, I faced a couple of issues. The ice machine on my floor was out of service, which was a hassle. Also, I wish there had been a complimentary breakfast. It would have been nice to grab something quick before heading to the beach. These inconveniences didn’t ruin my trip, but they could definitely improve the experience.

Only one elevator functioning, resulting in considerable waits of up to 15 minutes. Housekeeping services frequently ran late, with supplies arriving after 5 PM, causing frustration when I needed them earlier. I experienced plumbing issues, particularly with the hot water tap in room 306, which emitted an unsettling screaming noise, and had to deal with the commode tank not refilling properly, requiring manual assistance.

The room was really nice and clean, with a great ocean view. The bed was super comfy, which I loved. It was also decorated well, making it feel cozy. Just wish there were balconies for beachside rooms. Overall, a good space to relax in.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Courtyard By Marriott Fort Walton Beach-West Destin. The hotel was beautifully decorated, and I appreciated the easy access to the beach, which made it convenient for someone of my age. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home.

I wish they offered a continental breakfast.

i had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the beachfront access was a major highlight, much better than my previous experience in fort walton beach. the friendly staff and the well-decorated room with partial ocean view made my trip very enjoyable.
